Pálinka Fesztivál 2012

2012 is the year of apricot

As a continuing tradition, apricot and apricot pálinka plays the leading role in the 7th Annual Pálinka Festival of Budapest between May the 10th and 13th, 2012. Our visitors will have the chance of tasting hundreds of different spirits. In addition to that, this year they can taste the Apricot Pálinka of the Year. This blend of the best pálinkas of Hungary will be available for tasting at the Castle of Buda for the first time.

3rd Handmade Hungarian Taste Fair

When: 9-11. March 2012

Where: Millenáris, B épület, Kis Rókus u. 16-20.

The third time organized fair will introduce gastronomy of the seven Hungarian regons and other Hungarian regions beyond the borders: Subcarpathia, Transylvania, and the Southern and Nouthern crossborder Hungarian regions.

Visitors can meet over 120 exhibitors with almost 5000 Hungarian tastes - serving the finest cheeses, hams, sausages, jams, honeys, dried fruits, chocolates, wines and spirits - masterpieces by Hungarian small-scale producers and artisan farmers.
